Nestled in the heart of Soho, LoopyMango’s exposed brick walls and original wood paneling serve as the backdrop for an eclectic mix of yarn, unique vintage pieces and more. What began as a small clothing store with locations in the East Village and Brooklyn has now become a a unique shopping destination where visitors can explore, create, and discover – making each visit to Loopy Mango a truly memorable experience.
Loopy Mango was founded on a whim seven years ago by owners Waejong Kim and Anna Pulvermakher before the rise in social media and online shopping. “The consumer behavior has completely changed. Compared to seven years ago people buy online more often. We have made many sales because we have posted things on Facebook and people will come in.” They also use their blog, Twitter, newsletter and CityMaps to keep their customers in the know. Whether its their avid fan from Michigan or those ordering online from other countries, technology has spread the Loopy Mango experience on a global scale.
Their favorite hidden gem? Palmer Trading Company. ”They have menswear and are a small version of our store, ours is a little more feminine.” Be sure to check out both and stay tuned for more businesses highlights and features!
