Flamenco Festival 2012
City Center kicks of it’s Flamenco Festival today March 1 and it runs through the 4th. They will be showcasing great female flamenco choreographers: Rafaela Carrasco, Manuela Carrasco, Carmen Cortés and Olga Pericet. Each will demonstrate their individual style and take on flamenco. Tickets start at $35. Ticket holders can participate in a free flamenco dance class prior to the shows in the theater’s Grand Tier Lobby 90 min before curtain. Tickets available here.

MoMa Nights with DJ Huggy Bear
MoMa is open late the first Thursday of every month with a DJ, drinks, and special terrace menu. DJ Huggy Bear (Stephen Barr) will spin soul, funk, groove, jazz, rock, disco, 80s, world, house, hip-hop, and freestyle from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Paper magazine nominated him for Best New Party of the year for his Saturday-night sets in the lobby of Manhattan’s Ace Hotel. The cash bar is open from 5:30pm to 8pm.
