Filmmaker Casey Neistat is a New Yorker and bike enthusiast. In his time in the city he has had his bike stolen a number of times even when chained in a busy daylight area. He learned that his bike is simply not safe outdoors. He wondered if their had been witnesses to the bike thievery, and if so, why didn’t they do anything about it. He decided to brazenly steal his own bike and film it to see if anyone would try to stop him. (Brazen includes in front of a police station.) What would you have done if you saw this happening?
