Our goal is to make it as intuitive as possible for individuals to visualize their neighborhoods and cities. We started with the adage a picture is worth a thousand words and designed our interface so that company logos represented a company’s physical retail outlet.

Given the nature of our interface, we believe that the use of recognizable logos to represent a company’s location in a city is necessary for most users to understand what business is being referred to, and to find the business and information they are looking for. Individuals benefit from a better user experience; businesses benefit from the increased consumer traffic and greater brand awareness.

To be clear, the names and logos of the businesses on the maps are the property of those respective businesses, and inclusion of the names and logos on the maps does not mean that there is any relationship or affiliation between CityMaps and that business.

If any business owner prefers that their logo not be used, we can remove it and use normal black text instead. If a business owner prefers to be removed entirely from the map, we can accommodate that as well.

Conversely, we would love to work with you to add your logo to the map. If you are interested in this, please email us at logos@citymaps.com.

For any concerns pertaining to the use of logos, please send an email to logos@citymaps.com.
